County Council's massive development rejected

A detailed document produced by Conservative-led Gloucestershire County Council has been leaked. It shows plans, created by one of the County Council’s directors, for a series of garden villages across the county including one next to Moreton for 7000 homes.
Local campaigner Craig Thurling (pictured) and Cllr Paul Hodgkinson (GCC, Bourton and Northleach) have both rejected the idea:
“We have said that any new housing must come only after local services are fixed.
"This secret plan from the Conservatives at the County Council is now out in the open and we firmly oppose it.”
“We continue to press for better roads, sewage systems and schools in this area.”
