Tony Dale

Northleach

Tony has lived in Northleach since 1989, and has involved himself in charity organisations and community activities throughout that time.

Tony has focused on delivering Sustainable Growth for the Cotswolds since being elected in 2019 and becoming Cabinet Member for the Economy.

During this time the Digital Skills Academy in Cirencester College has opened; the T Levels building is planned, the government has approved the construction of the A417 missing link; the RAU has created and successfully launched the Innovation Village.

Addtionally, multiple Zero Carbon and sustainable technology businesses have chosen to relocate to the Cotswolds - ZeroAvia (70+ jobs), Enso Energy (25 jobs), Core to Cloud (25 jobs), Vertical Aerospace with its new technologies at Cotswold Airport, where we continue to plan a sustainable aviation sector.

App-led construction business Hercules has doubled its size, while Watermoor Point has been re-imagined as flexible office space and is now over 80% occupied following the UK departure of Mitsubshi.

Tony has made a tangible impact on the Cotswolds economy since being elected, opening new opportunities and bringing in skills and investment. He is also proud of the sustained high occupancy rates on our retail high streets.
